Boat and Watercraft Removal
Sailboats, powerboats, personal watercraft and the trailers under them, removed and disposed of responsibly.
Boat Removal
What this actually involves
Boats pile up on Oregon properties when repair costs pass the value of the hull, or when the owner simply stops boating. Then they sit, because a boat is genuinely difficult to get rid of.
Fiberglass hulls do not decompose and standard recycling facilities will not process them. They need specialized facilities that handle composite materials. Marine engines hold different fluids than car engines, and each one needs separate drainage. Fuel degrades into varnish that has to be pumped out and handled as hazardous waste. The trailer underneath is usually rusted past the point of being road safe.
We take the whole package: hull, engine, electronics, hardware and trailer. Metal and engines go to recycling, the rest is routed to facilities equipped to take it.

Questions
Boat Removal questions we get
The boat has not moved in years and the trailer is seized. Is that a problem?
No. Seized bearings, cracked tires and rusted trailers are what we expect to find. We bring equipment that does not rely on the trailer rolling.
Do you need the boat to be near a ramp or the water?
No. We remove boats from driveways, side yards, pastures, barns and outbuildings. No ramp is involved.
What about fuel still in the tank?
We pump out the tank and flush the fuel lines before the boat moves. Degraded gasoline is handled as hazardous waste rather than being dumped.
Can you reach a boat stored on rural or agricultural property?
Yes. We assess access routes ahead of time, plan around wells, septic lines and soft ground, and secure the load properly for the drive out.
